Created in 1986, the Big Nike was a shoe with attitude. Created with the big men of the game in mind, the Big Nike was simple, had no flair, but was born with a license to dominate. The first player that it made famous was Manute Bol, already well known for his never before seen stature (height). It featured a high ankle support, and the “NIKE” logo on the back heel. It had soul, could not be touched, and put other shoes to rest.
