A visit to the headquarters gave the German sales manager a bright idea. He saw a window of opportunity for the shoe in his home market.? The excess material was shipped to Germany, and the 576 was born.
Although it did well in the German market, the 576 was eventually dropped from production.? It returned in 1997, and soon, every sports outlet in Paris, London, and Milan wanted to stock it.
At the tail end of the? 1990?s, NB released the shoe in nubuck, full- grain leathers and prototype-only World Cup ?98 team colors.
