adidas Y-3 Black Savage

Whenever you see Y-3 precede the name of a model its almost a given that the sneaker won’t be your average model. The label typically boasts the more daring side of adidas and with the release of the Black Savage this hasn’t changed one bit.

The vicious Yohji Yamamoto designed sneaker features a black upper with a bold blocky lace flap that is held in place by blue elastic bands. It’s almost hard to take full notice to the upper however based on the sneakers Tricore outsole that looks like it has a bit of bite, literally. That is also where a hit of color comes in with red and blue being incorporated into the mix. A shell toe gives the sneaker a bit of classic juxtaposition in a very non predictable way.

The Nike Air Force 1 silhouette has yet to disappoint. Its one of those sneakers that looks great with a plain white silhouette or a custom bespoke upper and this latest look leans more towards the latter. This time we see the sneaker with a jersey gold upper leather and denim upper that features panels of each toggled against one another while a sport red swoosh sweeps across. The look is completed by a white outsole and a darker brown lining and heel tab and you can expect to see them on shelves of Nike retailers this Summer.

Nike Zoom Uptempo V White/Navy-Red

Rocked by Jason Kidd back in the day, the Nike Zoom Uptempo V was the hottest thing on the block back in 1997. Making their grand comeback this year, the model will mostly white upper with touches of red and navy blue that make us think it will hit the retail circuit near the London Olympics. Earlier today we got to see the Nike Basketball 2012 NBA All Star Game line up and what it had to offer. In that bundle was one Nike Lebron 9 that certainly perked a few brows with its orange upper and glow in the dark outsole. Here is a better look at the shoe and its proving to be something special just as we thought. The shoe features a galaxy print on the lining and outsole, as well as cool touches on the lace plate and tongue tag. These are set to hit stores on February 24th and will be in limited supply.

Kasina x Reebok Workout 25th Anniversary

To say that Reebok is on a roll with their Reebok Workout 25th Anniversary series would be an understatement. The brand has pulled in some of the best boutiques from around world to collaborate on this project and the next comes courtesy of South Korea.

For their Reebok Workout silhouette Kasina put a nice tweed upper on it and toggled it against leather accents on the heel, toe, tongue and detailing. The earth tone look is lightened up a bit by a white outsole and brushed silver accents. Look for them to release along with the others on February 15th, 2012.

The Air Jordan 2012 just mades its official coming out of the closet appearance yesterday and a new version of the sneaker has already hit the blogs. While this is being billed as the Air Jordan 2012 Lite, Jordan Brand has unveiled the Air Jordan A, Q, and E on their site. We can’t confirm if this is a separate model or if this is one of those, but rest assured that we will let you know as soon as we find out. Based on the lack of the wingtip style panels on the upper, we are thinking this is an extremely “lite” version. Source: ryo_chi

Nike Dunk High ’2012 All Star Pack’

Along with the Nike Basketball 2012 NBA All Star Collection there was another set of All Star related sneakers primed for release soon. We took a look at the Nike Dunk High “2012 All Star” Pack a short while ago and while not much has changed including the absence of a release date here is another look at the potent set of sneakers. The pairs pay homage to NASA with an overt Air & Space theme and come complete with a removable swoosh and solar print lining. Still no word on when we will see these hit the streets but stay tuned for information.

Nike Air Flight One QS Glow in the Dark (Official Images)

Alongside the Nike Air Foamposite One, Nike Sportswear will be celebrating All-Star weekend with a special silhouette from one of Orlando’s most popular players, Penny Hardaway. The Nike Air Flight One will be released in two colorways, one of which being the glow-in-the-dark model seen up above. The model features a mostly grey upper with glow-in-the-dark panels on the outsole and midsole spheres. Considering all the All-Star related sneakers to hit the web this week, how do the Nike Air Flight One QS stack up? Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” Official Images

Yesterday we found out that the Nike Air Foamposite One “Galaxy” would make its way to the streets on February 24th thanks to a little bird names Twitter and the @NikeStore. No sooner said than done, new images of the space inspired sneaker have hit the web.

According to Nike:

The Nike Foamposite One, showcasing an out-of-this-world galactic print upper, includes a Polyurethane midsole and a Nike Zoom unit in heel for low-profile, responsive cushioning. Made popular in its debut on the college hardwood in 1998, the Foamposite breaks the mold of conventional footwear design.
The collection will be available at select retailers and NikeStore.com from February 23.

In just under a month you can get your hands on the Ken Griffey Jr flavored Nike Lebron 9‘s and in case you haven’t seen them here is another look. The Nike Lebron 9 Swingman is just what the doctor ordered if you love blends of blue and feature a hybridized Swingman / Dunkman logo on the heel tab. Nike Basketball 2012 NBA All-Star Game Collection

Nike Basketball took some time out of the day to officially unveil their 2012 NBA All-Star Game Collection and it looks great. The shoes drop includes three silhouettes that are given a bit of an intergalactic spark thanks to an Air & Space theme that is complete with a glow in the dark outsole.

Included in the drop are the Nike Zoom KD 4, Nike LeBron 9 and Nike Zoom Kobe 7 and each one features a very solid colorway with a vibrant outsole. Each shoe also incorporates orange and silver in some fashion to future push the astronaut theme to its limit. Look for these to hit retailers on February 24 and expect to see more images before then.
