One of the more interesting and unique designs that Vans has offered up to the public this year was actually a collaboration with Steve Caballero. The Vans Caballero Legend Pack features his signature shoe the Half Cab, along with the Sk8 Hi and Era Pro. The British heavy metal band Iron Maiden has seen its share of collaborations with both Vans and Nike, and now their back at it again with Vans for their third collabo. This time around, they are using their Powerslave album cover as inspiration, which originally released back in 1984. The model of choice is the Vans Sk8 Hi, and they feature a blue suede construction with detailed Egyptian artwork on both side panels that coincide with the album cover. They are now available at select Vans accounts including DAve’s Quality Meats.

This past weekend, the Vans Fixed Gear Era Pack hit NYC retailers such as DQM among others. They pack features three pairs of the Era model which have been upgraded in terms of aesthetics. Each one features a different illustration at the heel such as cog and chains that pay tribute to the non-coasting bicycle. All three are now available on the Vans website and retail for $50.

This Fall, Vans plans on releasing three brand new colorways, all of which feature premium leather uppers with canvas accents. Other features include a soft full-length polyurethane insole, a vulcanized gum rubber outsole, and waterproof flat nylon hiker shoe laces. They will be available in black / grey, black, and green.
