Last week we posted info about the Soled Out NYC event that was held this past Saturday. According to our TSG NYC staff the event was packed and full of heat on and off the tables. Classic Slip Ons are very versatile and you never know what to expect. Vans has made more colors of their Slip Ons than Nike has done for the AF1. Now that’s a lot of colors! The designs continue to change and sometimes the themes favor. Vans has just released some new kicks including these Slip Ons. Two of them come with a fish concept and the other pair is done in a colorful swirl. Check with your local Vans dealers for these new Slip Ons, and ask about their other new releases because it’s much more available. (TSG)

The Bristish skateboard company “50:50″ teamed up with Vans to celebrate their 10th anniversary. Danny Wainwright’s 50:50 Skateboard Supplies has been in business for a decade and it’s still growing strong. The Vans Half Cab will of course be limited edition done in black suede with baby blue and grey. Whether you get money or you like money Vans has created a special “Money” edition for their popular Sk8-Hi model. The inner lining features an all over dollar sign logo pattern. They also used money green full grain leather to complete the dollar sign theme and make up. Thanks to Vans you don’t only have to feel like money, talk like money, but you can now walk like money in these new Sk8-Hi’s. Available at most Vans retailers, and A-Town heads can cop at Sole Munki right now for $65. (TSG)

The “Paint Drip Slip” Sk8-Hi is another new release from Vans. They feature an all over paint dripping pattern which sits on black canvas. A full black base with white paint drips on the uppers and midsole. The sockliner is unique also, it comes with white lining along with blue, red, yellow, and green paint drips. Looking at the sockliner makes me wonder if they made a white “Paint Drip Slip” Sk8-Hi with the exact same pattern. Vans is well aware on how to keep the different designs coming. Currently we don’t know if these will drop in the US or other parts of the world, but they have released in Japan. via ZoZo , TSG and HS

Vans will release another Sk8-Hi that will pay homeage to 80’s OG skater Christian Hosoi. Christian is a legend in the skate community and  is well known by many skaters. During his career he was introduced to drugs and he was later charged for trafficking with the intent to distribute. While serving his sentence he recieved salvation declaring Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior, and changed his life. He now runs Hosoi Skateboards and the legendary mark he made in the world of skateboarding is still highly respected to this day.

Many of you may remember the first Hosoi Sk8-Hi’s Vans made, and it’s a very sought after Sk8-Hi. If you’re still confused Kanye West was seen in a pair a while back. They favor the second edition with the rising sun theme, and some people even call them Japan or Tokyo Vans. Nonetheless here’s a very early look at the Hosoi Sk8-Hi’s, and according to the info provided they will release Spring 2008. I’m sure many people are excited about this Hosoi Sk8-Hi 2 news. Vans is living up to their outstanding reputation for being well known for versatile designs. Earlier this week we revealed the “Hippie Pack” and today we present the “Floral Pack”. The Sk8-Hi, Classic Slip On, Prison Issue, and Old Skool make up the pack. Just as the name states each sneaker comes with an all over flower pattern. The main base colors used in this pack was coffee and mango along with a few others colors seen on the floral print. Perfect kicks for the Summer days especially if you’re a Vans fan. The pack should be available right now, so check with your local Vans accounts.
