On Independence Day of 2010 the sneakerheads will be privy to a special release to help them commemorate the country’s special day. ACRONYM is a very prestigious clothing design agency that Nike has teamed up with for a very limited pair of sneakers. So limited in fact that its rumored that the only pairs belong to Errolson Hugh who is a co-founder of the brand. The Nike Dunk High AC is a black leather and wool dunk with the company’s logo embossed on the heel and tongue. The AC is for the Autoclave soles that we have seen popping up on so many new Nikes. Next spring Nike Sportswear retailers will see a new assortment of women’s Dunks and here is a pair many she-aker heads will salivate over. The sneakers come in a grey, purple and white colorway with perforated leather covering most of the upper and matrix-like graphics on the toe cap.

Although the month of November hasn’t come yet, Nike SB has already given us insight into their December line-up. The collection of several confirmed drops, including an all black colorway in the Stefan Janoski, a black / white colorway in the Nike Classic SB High, and a midnight fog design for the Nike Bruin SB. They are available now for pre-order at CCS and will ship early-mid December.

We’ve featured this pair of Nike Dunk High SB’s in the past, but now have detailed images to bring to you guys. They sport an all suede construction, along with a tiffany blue and red colorway, topped off by white accents. Highlighting the shoe is the translucent outsole design which reveals a nice pattern underneath. Look for them to release sometime in November to select Nike SB accounts.

We recently updated you guys on the Nike SB Dunk Low - Un-Hemp and just wanted to leat you know that they are now available at select accounts stateside. The shoes sport a primarily orange colorway with black accents, as well as hemp, adding both contrast and texture to the design. Other features include brown laces, outsole, and brown with white dots on the sock lining. As mentioned earlier, they are now available for purchase in the US.

Available now online at the Sweden-based online shop Caliroots is this pair of Nike SB Dunk Mid Premiums. They feature a chocolate brown upper constructed from suede, along with brown nubuck panels and a black midsole. The shoe laces are inspired by classic boot laces, while the outsole yields sparkling opaque detailing. Look for them now as they retail for $133.

Nike 6.0 has been really goin’ hard with their new silhouettes, even offering a new Dunk option for the ladies. Laced with a black upper and vibrant yellow and hot pink accents, the color actually gets some texture with a wood grain effect. The Nike Rivalry Series continues with the North and South. This pair of Dunk High’s belong to the North but surely the South won’t be averted to wearing em. Drabped in black and blue leather with a blue canvas heel these are sure to look great on. The other thing that is of note is the canvas tongue for an added element of style. No word on when they drop but surely they won’t be hard to find.

The KICKS LAB pack by SBTG recently released images of part two of the pack, the Blue Devils Nike Dunk Low. Drawing inspiration from the Black Mamba Dunk High that was made exclusively for Kobe Bryant, The Blue Devils play on the “What If” storyline of Kobe’s life. What if Kobe enrolled at Duke instead of jumping into the league fresh out of high school? Using Stealth Rival Camouflage matched with a Black Panther printed heel, these shoes are dope. Eddie Cruz has consistently shown L.A love, especially over the last few months with his collab sneaker releases. Having done a Laker inspired pair, he is back to do something for the football fans, drawing inspiration from none other than USC. This Dunk High Supreme features the infamous Crimson and Gold colorway, made famous by the USC Trojans. The kicks also get some texture with the scale like material used, matched with a Grey midsole and White laces.

As part of Nike’s Holiday 2009 Collection, you can expect to see the classic Dunk High silhouette release in the eye-grabbing colorway shown here. This particular version features a team red upper along with a fish scale pattern, as well as a gold Nike swoosh and grey midsole. Look for them to hit select Nike accounts in December in 2009. So we have individually seen them all, the lows and the highs. The SB camp looks to be heating things up albeit the changing temperatures in November. Now lets go ahead and play favorites. This is the Deathmatch. Pick your favorite High and Low and then the overall best. Lets see what the unanimous champ is hands down. As for this writer, Im gonna have to go with the Bloody Gums and the Obsidian/Black. The overall champ though is a toughie but I’ll rock with the excuse of preferring Highs to Lows and say Bloody Gums have this one. So what are your thoughts? The SB with the awesome color way and even awesomer name is finally available. Awesomer is definitely not a word but the Bloody Gums Dunk High deserves that kinda description. Tiffany Blue meets Team Red on an all suede upper with an ice sole and graphics underlay? Man listen, aside from the people who will scoff at the slimmed down tongue these should make a lot of disgruntled Dunk purists happy.
