Nike Air Zoom Flight 96 - Jason Kidd - Dallas Mavericks Colorway
Even though Jason Kidd has just left Nike to sign with a Chinese shoe company, Nike has been showing him plenty of love as of late, releasing several of his old signature shoes, with the latest being this pair of Nike Air Flight 96’s. They feature a white / blue / green colorway, as they are inspired by the old Dallas Mavericks colors, at a time when Jason played for them. A really nice feature about these is the translucent green outsole, which is always an added bonus. They are House of Hoops Exclusives, and were just release a couple of days ago.

Jason Kidd is the only member on the Men’s USA Basketball team who has won a gold medal in the past, but he was also one of the few who didn’t have his own Olympic inspired shoe, until now. Nike has decided to pay tribute to him by releasing an Olympic inspired colorway in his first signature shoe, the Nike Zoom Flight 95. they feature a white upper with red and blue accents. With retro-ing seeming to be the most popular trend now-a-days, its no wonder that Nike is just releasing old skool models in hot new colorways. Take for instance this pair of Nike Air Flight Lights, which were made famous during the early 90’s by Scottie Pippen. This new colorway sports a black nubuck upper along with purple accents, as well as a icy sole which is always adored by sneaker fanatics. We first brought you guys a sneak peek at the Nike Air Flightposite 1 - Metallic Silver a couple of months ago, and just wanted to keep you informed that they are slated to release sometime in December and retail for $180. The Nike Air Flightposite model has a history behind it, as it was the first shoe in the Nike Basketball line-up that wasn’t oven baked, and is instead created through a seamless, molding process. Nike is going to be releasing this pair of Dallas Maverick colored Nike Zoom Flight 95’s. The shoe was made to pay tribute to Jason Kidd’s rookie year with his team. The shoe as you can see comes in a high cut version along with a blue and white upper and pine green accents. Unfortunately they are only being sold exclusively at the House of Hoops by Footlocker in Harlem NY. Originally worn by Scottie Pippen in the 1991 NBA Finals, the Nike Air Flight Lite Low is making a comeback. Nike has them slated to release in several colorways, some of which are old, and some of which are newly designed. Pictured here is the all blue colorway, which is constructed from a synthetic leather, and feature a tinted clear sole on the bottom, as well as a herringbone traction pattern which porovides great grip on the hardwood. With the Summer Olympics in Beijing just around the corner, we have already seen plenty of Olympic Inspired shoes and colorways, and the Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 Retro can be added to that list. They feature a predominantly white leather upper along with blue and red accents, as well as the patented and adored Bug Eyes, which has kept fanatics in search of these ever since their original release in 1995 as a Jason Kidd signature shoe. Just in time for Jason Kidd’s addition to the 2008 Summer Olympic Team, Nike plans on releasing the Nike Air Zoom Flight 95 this upcoming week in this white / blue color scheme. They were originally a signature shoe of Jason Jidd, and can be traced back to his rookie year, in which he wore them during the season, the same season in which he was co-Rookie of the Year.

Nike Air Flight Lite -Pippen

Just a few days ago, we featured two colorways in the Nike Air Flight Lite model, which was set to be retroed. Today we feature the Nike Air Flight Lite -Pippen. They feature a black / white color scheme, and are exact copies of the pair that Scottie Pippen wore throughout the 1991 NBA Playoffs en route to the Bulls first championship. Nike Air Flight Lite High - 2 Colorway

We have been informed that two new colorways of the Nike Air Flight Lite High’s will be releasing in November. The Nike Air Flights were worn by Scottie Pippen and are considered his signature shoe. The sneaker will be returning in a citrus color scheme and a black/red/white colorway. They will hit stores later this year for a retail of $100. Via Nicekicks.
