Custom Chuck Taylor - The Joker
Filed Under Custom Kicks | Leave a Comment | Link Me (new)

Take a look at the Custom Chuck Taylor Joker designed by Sweatshop Clothing All Batman fans will love these kicks inspired by the latest box-office stunner “Dark Knight.” In only 24 hours the movie generated over $66 million. These sneakers feature an image of the late actor Heath Ledger whose untimely death certainly will make these sneakers as well as the movie a legend. Heath’s performance is already bringing about Oscar buzz. Detail is what matters when looking at these shoes; starting with the multicolored lace eyelets and the ghoulish image of Heath Ledger derived from some concept artwork for the movie. The saying “Why So Serious?” is eerily written in a sprawling red ink. Symbols from a deck of cards from the original Joker Chucks are painted on in black and red, along with thin purple outline along the top edge all around and a thick yellow stripe on the back. R.I.P Heath Ledger. via SO

Custom Air Jordan Fusion 3 (III) Rainbow Glass

Here is a detailed look at the Custom Air Jordan Fusion 3 (III) Rainbow Glass designed by Mateo. Mateo used the Air Jordan 3 (III) / Air Force One Fusion (GS) - White / Comet Red as his inspiration for the design. The shattered rainbow pattern and hand stitched Nike swoosh added to the shoe really make it stand out in a crowd. A brightly speckled midsole compliments the stitching on the toe box which pulls all of the bright colors together. The sneakers were originally meant to be worn with black laces which would probably look better than the orange.

Air Jordan 3 Cement - Custom Dunks
Filed Under Custom Kicks | 5 Comments | Link Me (new)

Here is a look at the Air Jordan 3 Cement - Custom Dunks created by 2Nice Customs / Tn Customs. The inspiration for these clearly comes from the holy grail of Air Jordans: Air Jordan 3 (III) Retro 1994 - Black / Cement Grey. The detailings on these customs are definitely immaculate even down to the tongue. 2Nice basically used an actual Jordan tongue with the addition of the cement pattern on the front and the heel. Take a look at the lace holes which are perfected to resemble the original Cement Air Jordan 3s with the addition of the red lace eyelets. Shout outs to 2Nice Customs for another great customized project!

Nike AF1 ‘Lockdown’ Custom Sneakers
Filed Under Custom Kicks, News, Nike Air Force One (1) | 4 Comments | Link Me (new)

Heres a look at a pair of custom sneakers designed artist/designer Krinj. Dubbed ‘Lockdown’, the Air Force One includes big bold black stripes to resemble prison bars along with a pair of hands holding onto the bars as if somebody is locked inside. On the heel theres a prison guard with his billy club raised and below him you can see a pair of arms being raised as if there is a prisoner on the floor about to catch a beating. Look closely at the pictures too so you dont miss those little stars imprinted on the toe box. The main element of these AF1s has to be the clear mid panels which include real ticket stubs Krinj manged to get out there on the mean streets. The man is always tryin to hold you down, damn the man. Anyway, theres also a custom box to go along with these custom kicks, you can check out pictures of that after the jump. The box has random government issued documents pasted all over it to go along with the whole lockdown/jail theme. Check out more shots after the jump. Via: Sneaker Obsession

Nike Dunk ‘Carnage’ Custom
Filed Under Custom Kicks, News, Nike Dunk | 4 Comments | Link Me (new)

This is a look at the newest custom sneaker Sekure D released over the 4th of July weekend. This Nike Dunk is dubbed ‘Carnage’ and inspired by the fame superhero. Personally speaking seeing a design like this i automatically think of Spawn since hes more well known then Carnage, eventhough they are red and black and not purple and black. However if your heavy into comic books im sure Carnage defiantly popped into your head first. I feel a Spawn edition in purple and black would be just as nice and would make a nice set if you had the 2. They are up for sale in the Sekure D webstore here in a size 11US. Another shot follows after the jump. Via: Sneaker Obsession

There has been a lot of hype surrounding the release of the new Nike “Marty McFly” Hyperdunk. With its smooth colorway and speckle design its caught the eye of many sneakerheads. But at the same time many people arent all that thrilled about the design of the Hyperdunk model. For those of you who are more into Dunks we present to you these custom Nike Dunks by 1 Of Customs which are designed after the McFly Hyperdunk. The same colorway was carried over to the Dunks and the speckle design was included on the frontal and heel panel. On the back of the heel panel in green it says MAG in a Back To The Future inspired font. The text and speckle designs are so clean you would swear it was straight from the factory. Check out more pictures after the jump and check out the 1 Of Customs website here. Via: Sneaker Obsession

Nike Dunk ‘Triggerfish’ Customs
Filed Under Custom Kicks, News, Nike Dunk | 7 Comments | Link Me (new)

Heres a look at a new custom sneaker by TTK which uses the well liked Nike Dunk Hi as a base. These are called the “Triggerfish” and the project started back in Steptember 2007 between TTK and a close friend of his. The challenge was made for TTK to design a sneaker based after a Triggerfish which included all its main aspects. Some images for reference points were printed out, the paints were mixed and TTK went to town for a few hours when he recently had some spare time. First glance it may just appear to you that abunch of random designs are just thrown together on the upper but if you look at a picture of a Triggerfish you can see that everything matches up nicely. You have the white spots which cover most of the body of the Triggerfish, along with the yellow and black design on the top of the tongue and on the frontal which is the same pattern and color as the top of the Triggerfish. A Triggerfish also has fines that are sort of aqua color so TTK finished up one Nike Swoosh in that color, along with the toe box and then covered the other swoosh and toe box in a coral color which is his own custom mix. Check out more pictures after the jump including a picture of a Triggerfish to compare the sneakers to it. Via: Sneaker Obsession
