With the 2008 Beijing Olympics in full effect, Puma has released three colorways in the Cell Meio shoe which represents the countries of Sweden, Morocco, and Jamaica. All three are are sponsored by Puma. All three color schemes sport textured, faux - croc material across the uppers, as well as premium leathers and each country’s individual colors. Each country’s flag can be seen at the heel of the shoe, along with a see- through outsole. They are now available at select Footlockers.

Newly released from Puma is this Pair of Puma Sky II Demi Gor-Tex’s. They feature a brown leather construction but also put gore - tex to use on certain portions which is great for those rainy / snowy seasons. They also feature olive and orange colored accents including the Puma logo along the side panels as well as contrast stitching. They are now available at Overkill as well as other select retailers. via KA.

Puma First Round Womens Polka Dots

Now available at Overkill are these Puma First Round Womens Polka Dots which are available in black and purple color schemes. Both models sport a combination patent leather and suede / velour construction with polka dots seen directly on the patent leather portions. This pair of Puma First Rounds are expected to release in the Fall season of 2008. They will be accompanied by the release of 2 more colorways. You can expect to see this pair of red / black / white sneakers to release along with a blue / white pair and a green / brown / white pair. Each shoe comes with 2 pairs of laces, one white and one the base color of the shoe. Expect to see them out sometime within the next couple of months. Via Pistacchio

Here we feature one of Puma’s latest collaborations, in which they draw inspiration from the 1980’s movie The Goonies. This pair of Puma Disc Blaze is bound to turn heads anywhere they go. They feature a black and white upper that includes skull print and hemp accents throughout. They also feature the movie logo on the midsole. No word on availability, but we’ll keep you guys notified. Puma Blaze of Glory 1968 Olympics

We already previewed the black pair of Puma’s featured here, but we wanted to take a more in depth look at it, as well as the white colorway. Both colorways of the Puma Blaze of Glory model are special 1968 Olympic Editions. They both feature Mexican inspirations which can be seen through the blanket inner lining as well as the number 68 on the tongue, which refers to the 1968 Olympic Games. They are both available now at VA.

We have seen several releases by Puma which feature animal inspired designs, and their latest design will follow suite. The Puma Suede Leopard Print Pack will use the Puma Suede model as its canvas, and will be available in light blue, light beige, and black. As the skateboarding scene becomes more popular in other facets of everyday life, it looks like every shoe company is trying to get in on the action. The Puma First R0und Skate is the latest to try out that line of work, and are featured here in three different colorways including blue / white, black / red, and green / brown. They have been modified to feature added cushioning and protection around the collar to give the shoe a better fit for skateboarding purposes. They are now available at Mita. via SN.

Atmos x Puma Suede Mid - Giant Panda

Here we feature the Puma Suede Mid - Giant Panda, which is the second shoe in the Asia Pack. The package is actually a collaboration between Atmos and Puma. They feature a black suede upper along with a fur collar and white leather on the side panels. There are also bamboo leaf designs along the sides, which definitely add some character to the shoe. One of best highlights of the shoe are actually the inner soles, which feature pictures of the endangered Giant Panda, of which there are only 3,000 currently in the wild and 180 in captivity. The Asia Pack will be on sale at Atmos NYC and UBiq Philadelphia beginning on July 26, 2008. via NiceKicks.

Puma Clyde - Floral Print - 2009 Preview

Puma is set to release this pair of Puma Clydes sometime next year. They feature a combination suede / leather / nubuck construction, in a dark blue color scheme, along with a beautiful floral pattern at the heel area. They should be available sometime in February 2009, but we’ll definitely keep you guys updated as the release date draws near. via euKicks.
