These commercials may develop more of a cult following than the shoes themselves. Sneaker Freaker’s high profile collaboration with New Balance has birthed a series of web videos to promote the shoes that are as funny as they are nostalgic. How can you beat sneakers, and kangaroos that speak in text-language?

New Balance and basketball were not  such odd bedfellows in the 80’s. And while the brand has more or less reserved the bulk of its muscle to running the runner game every now and then they remind you that they can still produce court shoes. The P485 is an update on the P480 that uses a hyper color way to transcend its intended purpose. Pink, turquoise and black make this one a little more edgy than its competitors. Black Friday just got a little more interesting. If you were considering camping outside of Target to get a $20 flat screen TV you may wanna rethink that when you hear about the Concepts New Balance 1500 & 875 dropping on that very day. Embossed tongue tags and pigskin leather makes these a sure fire hit in a color way that is just freaking awesome. Who else is feelin these? Via Nicekicks

New Balance does something interesting for the ladies with their A03 model. The shoe looks to be a viable alternative for those who aren’t so big on winter boots but still hate to have cold feet. Available in brown or pink with a shearling lining and a wind stopping nylon upper these are definitely different but still a welcome break from the norm and they are available now. Via Flauge.

Next year, you can expect to see New Balance put lots of effort into their 577 silhouette. Here we feature two versions that are slated to release as part of their Spring / Summer 2010 collection. One version yields a red/brown/white colorway, while the second sports a green/brown/white design. Both are constructed from a combination of leather and mesh. Stay tuned in for more information.

We covered the Sneaker Freaker New Balance 850 the other day via the viral video that leaked the other day and while we did let you know that it was gonna be dropping on December 5th we still feel like you aren’t fully adequately warmed up to what the release has to offer. From marriages to manufacturing plants anniversaries are special events that need to be commemorated. For their 20th New Balance and Beauty & Youth have worked up 3 simple color ways of the 1700 that are slated to hit the market in December. You gotta love how simple these keep it. Two new limited edition CM1500 hit the streets from New Balance, both giving us drastically different colorways but equally as dope. The first is done in a green/brown colorway while the other features a light blue with gray accents. The both also use very similar materials, suede, a bit of smooth leather and mesh. New Balance is coming correct for the winter time with boots that are as much fashion as they are function. New Balance uses their best winter technology on a shoe that comes in two colorways; olive leather and black gum, and brown leather and black gum. Here we see the rugged runner ready to take on any terrain in two new colorways. Employing neon hues like electric yellow and hot pink both models find leather and suede playing very nice with mesh. Draped in black suede with yellow accents the cool comes in at the toe box where camel colored leather peaks out and is wrapped in grey mesh. We just finished previewing this pair of New Balance MT580’s and now have some more pictures to bring to you guys. They are actually a collaboration between Stussy, Hectic,UNDFTD, and New Balance that are slated to release sometime this month over in Japan.
