Sneaker Freaker gives us our first images of what looks to be the first collab between Married to the Mob and Lacoste. Inspired by lingerie, the high top Hironia kicks use an interesting design aesthetic, mixing leather and lace overlay. Lacoste is slated to offer us up some nice releases which has been labeled their Niseko M3 Collection. It consists of two new lifestyle models, the Niseko M3 High and Niseko M3 Low. Both feature soft leather constructions, as well as fabric lining, and a vulcanized sole.The high top edition is shown here in two colorways, one which utilizes a brown design, while the other a blue hue. The low top also sports a similar blue design. Look for them to release at select retailers over in Asia sometime this month. Via Hypebeast

Here we feature two colorways in the Lacoste D’Arblay, both of which put to use the process of thermography. Both feature ultraviolet sensitive uppers constructed from synthetics, which change under UV light to reveal a crocodile print. This is a unique concept, but also intriguing as the design goes well with the brand name. Look for them to be limited to 50 pairs of each color, and release November 1, 2009 at Lacoste Harajuku.

Velcro straps have been popping up on various models this year and are looking to stick around next year included. Fashion forward brand Lacoste implements them for the Cavaillon UE which pays homage to the French Open. The shoes pay homage to the court and French flag via its red and navy colorway and while it is available in black and white nothing gets lost in translation. Via Hypebeast

LimitEDitions and Lacoste link up to bring you a real blast from the past with the Indiana High. These read like real retros and give that dusty fresh out the box after years on ice feel. The Spain company are dropping two variations of the shoe one with subtle pink and teal differences. The detail changes are so minor that they are hard to spot for that special touch of originality. Lacoste may be following in the footsteps of Jordan Brand, as they have plans to release their Space Pack. The pack includes several models, such as the Revan, Mississippi, and Esteban, all of which sport space themed designs as well as vivid colors. After a season of vibrant releases Lacoste felt the need to pull back the reigns and mute a few pallettes. The result is a Stealth LT STM pack for the Missouri and the Carnaby. The cross trainer inspired Missouri joins the Stan Smith meets Shelltoe like Carnaby for a hushed tone black and white upper that comes across as classy as a tuxedo. Lacoste Stealth Collection "Dot Fade" Pack

The futuristic theme of the latest Lacoste Collection called the Stealth features this series of sneakers in colored gradient design. The Ibiza Mid and Carnaby models receive the dot treatment in Green, Black, and Pink bases,and later dubbed as the “Dot Fade” Pack. If drinking mojitoes adn mimosas was a sport this would be the shoe to do it in. The Lacoste Imatra is aVans Era like shoe that puts its own spin on summertime cool by being made of weaved straw. Sounds like theres not much to do in these except look good and you dont really have to worry about what shirt matches since they have an entire line of 2 button polos that will do the trick. Coming in 2 colorways it gives you a few options but come with this warning, strenuous activity is not recommended at all. Via Freshnessmag

Lacoste comes thru with one of the more literal translations of their logo in recent memory. The Stealth has white narrow sihlouette that kinda resembles an alligator and if you don’t draw the visual connection there just glance at the reflective croc skin used on the upper. Lacoste is more known for their signature 3 button polo’s than their shoes but when they do offer up kicks its always a treat. This time the company is launching its Paris collection which features 3 models, the Observe 3, Cabestan Cup and Imatras. The shoes seem to be inspired by boat culture and casual wear with materials like woven material and leathers. Look for these to drop at select Lacoste retailers in July. Via Hypebeast

Half boat shoe, half sneaker, Lacoste presents their Cabestan Vulc Mid. The shoe comes in Green, Royal Blue, and Black. All feature eye-catching vibrant colors on the eyelets, heel pop out, and stitching. The Lacoste font across the tongue features multiple colors making this a fun shoe to wear during the summer time. Here we feature some pictures of the Lacoste Tiller Egypt which pays tribute to the iconics crocodile symbol that the brand is known for. The Crocodile Mythology edition, as they have been dubbed, sport a low ankle design, along with a green canvas construction as well as khaki suede accents. The side panels also sport a nice triangular design which definitely adds to the beauty. They are now available at select accounts overseas in limited numbers.

It’s been a while since we feature anything from Lacoste, but the latest is this Stealth Cassel Lo model, which is actual a hybrid hiking boot. They were the highlight of Lacoste’s 2008 Stealth Collection, and are returning this year. This time around, they sport a premium leather upper along with mesh inserts on the toe box and mid panels. They also feature white contrast stitching, as well as a rugged outsole and reinforced metal shoe lacing eyelets. They are now available at overseas retailers including Flauge.

Whenever anyone sees a min green crocodile they are sure to automatically associate it with the iconic Lacoste fashion image which has been around for over 75 years. Lacoste will be paying a well deserved tribute to the mascot and founder Rene Lacoste with a series of Lacoste sneakers set to release over the next few months. The Tiller Egypt, Revan NYC and Tennis 91 West Africa will drop one at a time starting at the beginning of April at select Lacoste retailers. Here is a vivid description of the concept behind the series.

“For over 75 years the LACOSTE brand has been associated with Crocodiles. It began in 1925, when Rene Lacoste, the founder of the brand, made a bet with Pierre Gillou, the French Davis Team Captain, the prize being a crocodile skin suitcase that Rene had spotted in the shops of Boston. To win the bet Rene Lacoste had to win his next Davis Cup match against the Australian player Anderson, during the days that followed the story of the bet was recounted to George Carens a local journalist. Following the match, which Rene Lacoste did not win, Mr Carens wrote “The young Lacoste has not won his Crocodile skin suitcase but he fought like a real crocodile”. The nickname stuck and Rene Lacoste adopted the crocodile as his emblem and soon had a crocodile embroidered onto the outside pocket of his jacket and the legendary brand logo was born.”

“Crocodiles are featured in many myths and legends around the world with diverse stories ranging from Ancient Egypt where the powerful half man, half crocodile Sobek came out of the sea to create the world. To the Albino Crocodile in South Africa which inhabits the sacred Lake Venda.
