BoneCollector, a bonafide Jay head, joined up with us only a few days ago, but has been a major contributor and active member.  He started collecting Jordans as a kid, crediting his mom for his obsession, for keeping him in a fresh pair.  After watching his older cousins, he started his own collection, which totals over 40 pairs.  When asked to choose his favorite shoe, he claimed it was too hard to pick just one out of twenty three.  Smart answer.

Bring It Back: Air Jordan 6 - White / Infared

Last week’s Bring It Back feature took a journey way back to 1998 for a chance to revive the Nike Total Air Foamposite Max - Tim Duncan. This week, our adventure takes us to the year 1991 when the Air Jordan 6 - White / Infrared arrived on the scene and became a part of the Air Jordan legacy.

With the release of the famous Air Jordan 6 - Carmine and the Air Jordan 6 - Olympic 2008 earlier this year, it’s only right to ask for another Air Jordan 6 Retro! The Air Jordan 6 - White / Infared retailed for $125 upon their release. They have yet to be seen ever again since 1990 and sell on eBay for over $700. They feature an all white leather upper with an infrared color scheme on the midsole, which definitely draws attention to the shoe. The infrared is definitely one of the most adored color-way by sneaker fanatics worldwide whether it’s on a pair of Air Max or an Air Jordan. With the early previews of Air Jordan 6 Fusions, we can’t help but to ask for an Air Jordan 6 - White / Infrared Retro! Here is a look at the future releases of the Air Jordan 6 Fusions seen thus far:

With that said, how many of you guys would like to see the return of the Air Jordan 6 - White / Infared? Any Comments…

Nike Air Force 1 - iD Bespoke by The Mayor

We’re not talking about your local town mayor here, but The Mayor, the guy who has been running all things Air Force 1 ever since the world discovered that he officially owns 1000 pairs of them. They are all a part of his official collection, now THAT is impressive. The Mayor continues to reflect his collection and creativity with his newest Nike iD - Bespoke AF1.

The Mayor recently visited the Nike iD Bespoke Studio at 21 Mercer Street in NYC to mess around with some of the many new and exciting options available for customizing and personalizing his favorite shoe; the Nike Air Force 1. After exploring many different design ideas, Mayor finally discovered the Air Force 1 that you see right here.

The shoe, still hot and fresh out the oven arrived at the Bespoke Studio today and features some sweet luxurious elements, including a dark denim upper with gold stitching and a matching gold insole. Mayor decided to use red patent leather on the Swoosh, heel tag and tongue label. In the images seen here, the sole is white with a clear out-sole, however that was not Mayor’s initial plan. He had intended for the out-sole to be colored a solid red, naturally to match the red details on the upper. There was some miscommunication in the outcome of the design, but it matters not, as these shoes are still hot. The lacelocks are made of stainless steel with “MYR” printed in an elegant scrawl. The shoes come with the original factory tag from the renowned Feng Tey factory in China. If you just so happen to be in NYC, it would be well worth it to take a trip down to Nike Sportswear and see what kind of unique Air Force you can make all on your own.Via SneakerNews
