CONVERSE 100th Anniversary Collection - 100 Releases

To commemorate its 100th Anniversary, Converse will be releasing 100 items from 2007 December to 2008 March. Still a popular company among many original sneakerheads as Converse was once what Nike Dunks and Air Jordans are today. Some of these sneakers will be new designs and some will resemble past Converse sneakers which were once the talk of the town. The first December release including different retro models from 1922 to 1999. You can keep an eye our for few pairs of All Star Hi in the December release including a classic Camouflage model which firstly launched in 1983, and also the MA-Nylon in 1999. All shoes from the 100th Anniversary Collection are coming in blue 100th Anniversary box.

The collection, which includes a pair of highs and Ox, will release on the 3rd of November at HYPE DC in Pitt St. Sydney, Australia. No other info on release date and location for the kicks, but rest assured the release will be limited and hard to come by.

Sneaker Pimps Atlanta

The Sneaker Pimps tour stopped by Atlanta this past Saturday (September 22nd). ATL sneaker lovers and people from other states enjoyed were on the scene. The Clipse and Mr. Bigg Time performed, and some other people we’ve never heard of. Sole Munki skate team along with other skaters did a demo, and several artist were on hand doing live installations. It was nice seeing fellow A-Town sneakerheads, and shout out to all the people I met. Overall the event was dope, but I’ll literally let the pics do the talking.

Converse will release the “Playoff” edition of the Wade 2.0. This special playoff Wade 2.0 will come in an all black colorway with a touch of yellow and of course D-Wade’s #3 is on the side. Will the playoff edition Wade 2.0 help D-Wade and the Miami Heat win another championship? Who knows, but these will be available for Dwyane Wade fans on Wednesday, April 25th.

Converse just released two new colorways of the Weapon Low. The left pair features a “rasta” theme with a red/green,yellow colorway. It seems like this colorway has become pretty popular for the warm weather days. The other pair is made up in a white/green/royal blue/yellow colorway, giving off a sprite vibe. Both colors are now available at a store near you for $70.
