The Converse Chuck Taylor - Leather Jacket is part of the Converse Century Collection, and is a new, and really good look for the shoe. They feature an all black leather construction, along with visible stitching on the lacing tabs and a white midsole. They are set to hit Converse retailers in July. via Sneaker Freaker

Converse will be releasing a special line of sneakers to help product Red. A total of 100 designs are expected to release. Each pair will have something form a different culture. In all Africa, Brazil, Japan, Norway and the United States are expected to be represented in the designs. Many of the sneakers are multi colored, this represents the different clashes of cultures. Artist such as Warwick Kay and Michael Schall are expected to contribute to the sneakers design. You can expect this “1Hun(Red) Artists collection” to release in the 2008 Fall/Winter seasons. Here we present the Wacko Maria x Converse Chuck Taylor High, which is a collaboration between the Japanese brand and Converse, on their classic Chuck Taylor High model. They feature a simple black and white colorway, with an added patch embroidery to the side-panels of it. The sneakers are now available at Hybaa.

Converse has teamed up with Utah Jazz Small Forward Kyle Korver to announce the MyChucks contest, which allows participants to design a Chuck Taylor All Star and win the grand prize of having their personalized Converse All Star exclusively sold by Eastbay. Also, Kyle Korver has designed his own pair of All Stars, which are available to view on the MyChucks website along with a video. His All Star features various items that are significant to Korver and his life. The Grand Prizer winner will be flown to the Converse headquarters, where he/she will work with designers and others to re-create their shoe. The final version of the shoe will then be produced and sold on Eastbay.com in January 2009.

So far this year, Converse has served up some nice models and colorways, and continue to do so. Here we feature two samples which are set to release this upcoming Fall. They include the Converse All Star Low, and the Converse re-issue quick Start, which both feature a purple and blue colorway on a leather upper, as well as a yellow sole. The Converse All Star Low is now available at Denim and Sole.

Converse has recently teamed up with Japanese Brand Sonic Lab to produce this pair of Converse Rogger (Chuck Taylor).The designis sort of a hybrid of the Chuck Taylors and a pair of hiking boots, as they feature metal lace loops, round boot laces and even an extra patch of fringed suede to protect the toebox.Two versions are available one a low top (OX) and the other, a high top.
