Undefeated x Converse Poorman
Here we feature a picture of the Poorman’s Weapon, which is a collaboration between Converse and Undefeated. They are inspired by the Air Force MA -1 flight jacket, and sport an all black nylon and satin upper. They also sport removable Velcro patches, and a bright orange inner lining. The sole is modeled after the iconic Converse Chuck Taylor shoe. No word on a release date, but we’ll keep you guys notified. via Vapors.

Dwayne Wade was definitely a surprise during the2008 Beijing Olympics. We all knew he was a superstar,but no one really expected to be so explosive, especially coming off of knee surgery. Like Kobe and LeBron, he also broke out a new pair of shoes for the Gold Medal Game, and allowed us to get a sneak peek at the Converse Wade 4. The ones he wore featured a similar colorway and design scheme as the United We Rise Pack. They aren’t too bad, but only time and sales will tell how they appeal to the public. via China Size / NiceKicks.

Recently released by Converse are these two pair of shoes, the Chuck Taylor All Star Low and Poorman Pro Team Hi. The Chuck Taylor model feature an all black leather construction which has a dull look to it, as well as a Velcro strap system instead of the typical lacing system. The Poorman Pro Team Hi model sports a black vinyl upper with a grey Converse logo along the side panels. Both models are available now at Rock Paper Scissors. via Hypebeast.

We’ve already seen plenty of shoe companies jump in on the Olympic action, and Converse definitely doesn’t fall short of that list. Featured here are several 2008 Beijing Olympic Converse All Stars. One pair features a red / yellow colorway and represents Huanhuan. The other pair sports a grey / white color scheme and represents Jingjing. The Converse Wade Team Mid is another model that has been given the Olympic treatment. They are part of the United We Rise Pack, and you can bet that Dwayne Wade will be rocking these kicks once he steps on the court in Beijing. They feature a predominantly white perforated upper constructed from leather along with red and blue accents. There is a hint of patent leather along the side panels, as well as double seem contrast stitching (red). The shoe also sports tribal - like details on the front and back that feature a 3M reflective property. They sport the Converse logo on the side panels, as well as WADE on the heel area. They are a Footlocker House of Hoops exclusive, and will be available on August 8, 2008.

We have already seen plenty of releases by Converse to celebrate their 100th anniversary, and this Leather Jacket Chuck Taylor is the latest to do so. They are actually inspired by vintage motorcycle jackets, and feature an upper ocnstructed from patchworks, zippers, and waxed laces. They are slated to relese on August 1, 2008 at Juice Store in Hong Kong. Only 12 pairs will be available and they will retail for $384. Via hs.

With the upcoming Summer Olympics in Beijing approaching fast, we have already seen plenty of Olympic inspired models and colorways, and we wanted to take the time to preview the United We Rise Pack - 2008 Beijing Olympics. Here we preview several models included in the pack, such as the Nike Zoom Soldier 2, the Nike Air Force 25 Low, Converse Wade Team Mid, and the Nike Hyperdunk. They all feature predominantly white uppers, along with red and blue accents. A big part of each shoe are 3M reflective details, which almost seem tribal. They feature a reflective property which seemingly makes them glow when hit by direct light. We will be bringing you guys exclusive and detailed pictures of each shoe in the next couple of days.
