City Packs come around every so often to deck out some of your favorite pairs with hometown pride but we don’t think we’ve seen many as classy as this. For the Converse Chuck Taylor ‘City Pack’ they have chosen to forgo brash color blocking and relegate the colors that pay homage to the midsole ribbing, laces and ankle cross stitching. The tumbled leather silhouettes come with metallic eyelets that add a bit of pop to the overall look. If you need a pair to help you rep Los Angeles, Boston or New York they are available today at the Converse site.

Super Mario Bros. x Converse One Star Ox

We have seen the team up of Super Mario Bros. and Converse before along the upper of a Super Mario Bros x Converse Chuck Taylor silhouette. The two are right back at it again but this time the Converse One Star Ox is the chosen model and they give the shoe a very tasteful and subdued feel. The smooth leather upper is given a black or white colorway and the star logo is given eyes to pay tribute to the game. Mario appears on the heel in all of his pixelated greatness while a red lining highlights the look. These are soon to land in the US so stay tuned for better pictures and more information.

UNDFTD x fragment design x Converse Teaser

An all star line up by way of UNDFTD and fragment design have signed on to do a collaboration with Converse and based on this teaser image its going to be good, very good. From the looks of things a vibrant red Converse Chuck Taylor that is very well branded and crafted of canvas. Unfortunately for now that’s all the info that we have but stay tuned as more details are soon to be dropping.

Missoni x Converse 2012 Preview

The tag team that is Missoni and Converse will continue well into 2012 as we get a sneak peek at two new silhouettes they will be hitting us with. Seen here are the Converse Chuck Taylor High and Converse Aukland Racer both clad in the cloth uppers that the textile company is well known for. The Chuck Taylor finds its flow this time with leather detailing around the midsole, toe and heel tab while the Aukland Racer keeps it knit with a jumble of colors aiding the way. No word on when these will hit retailers but stay tuned for an update.

The Gorillaz x Converse Chuck Taylor All Star is finally beginning to make its way to retailers. Converse let Jamie Hewlett have is way with the Chuck Taylor silhouette and he came up with four bold designs for the sneaker and while there are only two available at Millennium Shoes right now that is surely more than enough to pick from. Be it either Camo or characters its hard to go wrong with such a solid collaboration.

Converse Addict by NIGO – Spring 2012

Japanese designer Nigo has spiced up the Converse Chuck Taylor, conjuring up this two piece collection for the Converse Addict spring season.

They come in a choice of brown or white, both of which utilize canvas uppers along with white rubber toes, as well as zippers along the sides. Finishing off both looks are matching white soles.

The shoes are said to be Japanese exclusives and are set to release on March 10, 2012 at select Converse Japan accounts.

Converse unleashes a few silhouettes that are certain to please all you easy riders out there. Here is a set of Chuck Taylors that is certain to set off that motorcycle jacket that you have in your closet just waiting to be rocked.

This drop features a Converse Chuck Taylor All Star Low and High model with black leather uppers and a zipper clad laceplate. The sneakers also feature pretty cool tooling along their uppers that give them a unique feel like none other. Look for these to hit select retailers this Spring.

Masafumi Watanabe x Converse Jack Purcell Johnny

Converse has teamed up with Masafumi Watanabe, the man behind Bedwin and the Heartbreakers label, to craft this version of the Converse Jack Purcell Johnny. The kicks have that outdoors look to them, and utilize the classic Duck Boot style for inspiration.

The shoe features an orange-brown leather collar and vulcanized, monochromatic, dark-brown rubber uppers with the iconic Jack Purcell Johnny detailing embossed on the side. The familiar Jack Purcell toe-smile receives a color-corresponding accent in dark-brown rubber and a semi-transparent, gum-rubber sole rounds out the shoe’s simple, yet handsome elements. The shoe comes with a standard-lace or a boot-lace option and features the Masafumi Watanabe label on the shoe’s foot bed.

“It’s a huge honor for me to work with Converse. I grew up wearing Converse Jack Purcell shoes and still wear them whether I am at my office or walking the streets of Tokyo. I see the Jack Purcell shoe as an icon of American style and pop-culture and wanted to blend their simple elegance with a roughness fit for an urban lifestyle,”

Scheduled to release on February 4th, the shoe will be limited to 450 pairs globally. The US price tag is $140 with size availability ranging from 8-13 US.

Converse Jack Purcell Specialty OX ‘Monks Robe’

Converse continues to put points up on the scoreboard when it comes to their Jack Purcell model and the names of the colorways are just as interesting as the designs themselves. We just saw a pair of Converse Jack Purcell Ox – Athletic Navy / Milk and the next colorway has an even better name.

This time around the sneaker steps out in a color known as Monks Robe that spreads across the entire upper in a buttery leather. The sneakers feature detailing on the eyelets and tongue and also features a white vulcanized rubber outsole while a mesh tongue keeps things comfortable. These are available now at select retailers.

Missoni x Converse Pro Leather

Converse is taking their Pro Leather silhouette and giving it some flavor courtesy of a collaboration with Missoni. Covered in a premium leather upper, the model is laced with a dark burgundy that rest atop on off-white outsole. Additionally, the model features Missoni Intarsia wool knit panels on the heel strip and the tongue to complete the premium look. Look for the Missoni x Converse Pro Leather to drop this Fall. Cons Trapasso Ox ‘Black’

When it comes to the Converse skate brand CONS has really been pumping out a few very nice silhouettes. One that we have been particularly fond of is the Cons Trapasso Ox and here is a new colorway of the model.

Here the shoe is seen with a black nubuck upper that looks durable and stylish. Perforated paneling gives the sneaker a bit of breathability while a ballistic mesh tongue is all about comfort. The shoe is finished off with a white vulcanized rubber outsole and is all in all a classic look. These are available now at select retailers.

Norse Projects x PRO-Keds Royal Lo

We’ve seen Copenhagen based Norse Projects collaborate with brands such as New Balance in the past, and today we see that they have teamed up with old skool brand PRO-Keds to create a three piece collection of the PRO-Keds Royal Lo.

All three feature suede uppers, and sport leather on the heel tabs, as well as cork insoles and dual brandings on the tongues and footbeds. They come in a choice of orange, blue, or white, all of which are slated to make their way to select shops on February 24,2011.

Converse Addict by Nigo

While the first brand you would think of when the name Nigo pops up is A Bathing Ape it appears that he has shaken things up a bit by leaving his stamp on a pair of Converse, literally. These images of his take on the Converse Addict in at least two planned colorways. In white or brown leather Nigo chose to keep the sneakers pretty simple with a zipper on the side and a white vulcanized outsole. The shoes are finished off by his name stamped on the lining to let you know that these are indeed special. Look for these at select retailers soon.
