Converse is slated to release this special pair of Chuck Taylor Lows to celebrate The Big Day Out. In case you didn’t know, that is the name given to Austrailia’s largest music festival in which Converse is a major sponsor. They feature a white canvas upper along with multi-colored accents, including The Big Day Out seen on the side panels. They are exclusive to Australia, and will hit retailers during the beginning of December. Within 50 of the pairs, users will find tickets to the concert. via snkr frkr

We’ve seen several collaborations with Converse and classic Rock Bands, and this latest pair can now be added to the list. Constructed to pay homage to The Doors, this pair of classic Chuck Taylor Highs feature an all black canvas upper with a detailed illustration of Jim Morrison at the back end. They also feature the classic white rubber toe and midsole, a design that seems to never go out of style. They are now available at select shops including Major DC.

We’ve seen Barney’s NYC pop up in a few of our post, as they have been exclusively selling several shoes latetly. Here we feature their latest collaboration with the classic Converse Chuck Taylor model. They feature the shoe’s iconic silhouette, along with perforated patent leather uppers. This year marks Converse’s 100th Anniversary, and they’ve been celebrating all year with special edition releases and things of that nature. The celebration continues on as they have lined up a variety of shoes to include in their November 2008 collection. Some of the models involved are the Chuck Taylor, Jack Purcell, Pro Leather High and One Stars. They are scheduled to release at Converse Japan retailers this November.Via HypeBeast.

After a few disappointing seasons, Dwayne Wade plans to show everyone how healthy he is, and with the help of his new teammates, help lead the Heat back to the promise land. With a fresh start comes a fresh look, as he will be stepping onto the court with his new signature shoe, the Converse Wade 4. They sport a predominantly black upper along with red and white accents. A noticeable feature is the use of ventilation shafts located on the shoe which will help reduce the heat within the shoe and allow the foot to breathe. Converse’s latest creation has been labeled the Century Project, and features two pairs of mid cut shoes, the One Star Mids and the Poorman P Team Hi. BOth feature all black leather constructions and were created to help celebrate Converse’s100th year anniversary. They are both available now at Overkill. via Kicksaholic.

Undefeated x Converse Poorman
Here we feature a picture of the Poorman’s Weapon, which is a collaboration between Converse and Undefeated. They are inspired by the Air Force MA -1 flight jacket, and sport an all black nylon and satin upper. They also sport removable Velcro patches, and a bright orange inner lining. The sole is modeled after the iconic Converse Chuck Taylor shoe. No word on a release date, but we’ll keep you guys notified. via Vapors.
