Here we feature some insight into the Asics Gel Lyte III and Asics GT II. Several colorways are scheduled to release throughout the 2009 season, starting in January. Asics Gel Lyte III & Asics GT II - 2009 Release

Lately, the Asics collaborations that we’ve mentioned have for the most part dealt with the Gel Lyte III model, but one of their next projects will focus on the Gel Lyte II model. This time around the collaboration is with Berlin-based Solebox. They are part of the Collette The MJC=Sold Out project, and are scheduled to hit stores on Saturday, Decmber 20, 2008. They also come with a special Sold Out x Asics matching scarf. This release will be extremely limited to 100 pairs with 76 pairs hitting collete, 12 pairs available at Patta Amsterdam and Berlin’s Solebox to receive the other 12 pairs. via La MJC.

Asics is scheduled to release this exclusive pair of Gel Lyte III’s in December. They feature a vibrant colorway which consists of a predominantly brown leather upper along with bright orange and turquoise accents. The bright accents clash with the dark brown upper and create a really nice mix. One of the nicest features of the shoe is the speckled midsole, which is not seen too often. pics via The Good Will Out.

Typically our Asics news consists of the Gel Lyte III model, but today we’re running away from the norm and bringing you guys some news on their Procourt Hi model. They are scheduled to release in two different colorways, both of which are now available for presale at Flauge. They both feature this old skool, worn look as the midsole on each has been given that worn look. They both feature patent leather and suede designs that compliment subtle color schemes.

Typically the Gel Lyte III model is usually covers our Asics section, here we feature some detailed photos of the Asics Onitsuka Tiger SECK MT model, which is available in both black and white colorways. They both feature an all over multi-colored paint splatter across the upper. They were recently released over in Asia but have also mad their way onto eBay. via ID4SHOES

David Z. has become synonymous with Asics as we are always seeing collaborations between the two. The latest is with David Z’s Ronnie Fieg, who has design what is now their 7th collaboration. The Gel Lyte III is the model of choice, and sports an upper embellished with pig skin, patent leather, and suede. They are rare as only 200 pairs are available worldwide, and were recently released to the David Z. Flagship store on Friday, October 3, 2008. Typically when we post any news about Asics, it’s  about some collaboration with David Z. or on the Gel Lyte model. This time around, we’re going away from the norm, as we bring to you new colorways in the Asics Fabre model. They are now available at your local Asics accounts and come in either a black / splatter colorway or a vivid blue one. via TSG.

Asics Fabre - New Colorways

Now available at The Good Will Out are these two pairs of the Asics GTII. Both are new, and while one features an all white colorway, the Elephant version puts to use the infamous elephant or crackle print mad famous by the Air Jordan 3 (III). The white version features plenty of perforations, which provide the bearer’s feet with ventilation, while the grey Elephant version is quite unique. via HighSnobiety.

Asics has definitely become more urban as of late thanks to hot colorways and collaborations with such stores as David Z. Here we feature a few pictures of the Asics GT model, as they feature a white and grey upper along with blue and green accents. The toebox is perforation for ventilation purposes, and the shoe sports a combination leather / suede construction. Here we feature detailed pictures of the Edo Murasaki, which is the second pair of shoes in the Kirimomi Project. They feature a more interesting design, as they make much more use of patent leather in a black and purple colorway. Also, they feature a polka-dot design which runs throughout the upper, along with a large amount of perforations which act as a system of ventilation. They are also available now at select retailers including Atmos and DQM.

News on the collaboration between Mita and Asics surfaced a while ago, and we now have detailed pictures of the models included. This pack is known as the Kirimomi Project, and features two pairs of Asics Gel Lyte III’s. Featured here is a colorway which offers an all black upper constructed from a combination of mesh, nubuck, and patent leather. An interesting feature is that the tongue doesn’t feature your everyday look but instead is split down the middle into two portions which together help cover the forefoot. They also feature a beautiful speckled midsole and blue outsole. They are now available at select retailers including DQM.

The Asics Gel Lyte III has seen plenty of collaborations as of late, especially with well known designers such as David Z. Here we feature two colorways which have been spotted at Footlockers lately. The shoe pictured aboves consists of a black, white, purple, and blue color scheme. The other one featured below features a red / yellow / black / orange colorway. Lately, Asics has done several collaborations with David Z., and here we feature a model recently used in one of those collaborations. This time, Asics has decided to release the Asics GT Quick as a Europe release, in a colorway you would think would be a New York edition, as they feature a white / royal / orange color scheme, which match the official colorways of the New York Mets and New York Knicks franchises. They are now available at Solebox.

This pair of Asics GT Gels are set to be releasing soon. As you can see they have a bright pink/ blue/ white outer color scheme with a yellow lining color. Asics are known for their simplistic design so you can expect to were them with pretty much anything. There isn’t much information available now on their release but be sure to check back soon for more. Via hs.
