The adidas Star Wars Collection is sneaking out in bits and pieces and one of the first looks we are getting is the Princess Leia Top Ten Hi. The shoes look to be inspired by her slave bikini and are composed of grey satin, purple suede and gold piping. These teaser pictures are just enough to make us want more. Via nitro:licious

Star Wars fans will get a chance to add another piece of memorabilia to their collection in 2010. adidas honors the timeless intergalactic tale with a few of its classic models in what looks to be a very promising collaborative. The shoes take inspiration from scenes and characters for a literal interpretation and while we only have these sneak peak images you can only imagine how soon the hi res detailed photos will be online. The adidas Originals by Orginals campaign was seen a while back and in order to refresh your memory of just how fresh they were we gotta take another look at the David Beckham x James Bond Marathon Mid. The rugged shoe maintains an element of luxury and mystery and still does it all with foul weather provisions like gore-tex and a waffle outsole. Pochoir’s Superstar is reminiscent of a romp through the streets of London with a satirical feel and stone wall upper. The tan toned classic has ditched the stitched stripes in favor of painted on ones and comes complete with lace locks and a speckled trefoil. Light blue accents are also used on the heel area, and shoe lacing tips and lace plate. These are definitely slightly more subtle than the rest of the pack but awesome nonetheless. The effect of pattern on the 60 Years of Soles and Stripes kinda feels like an acid trip and creates this cool textural effect based on the sheer volume of striped panels used. Consisting mainly of grey stripes the shoe is accented by red and blue stripes. Stripes cover the entire shoe from laces to midsole, hell even the stripes are striped! Since making his way to the NBA, guard TJ Ford has bounced around a bit, but has proven his skills and is deserving of his own player exclusive. Adidas decided to bless him with his own colorway in the Adidas TS Cut Creator. They sport  white upper constructed from leather and patent leather, along with yellow and navy accents which mirror the colors of the Indiana Pacers. No word whether they will ever release to the public, but if anything changes, you can be sure we will bring the information to you guys.

KRSN brings French sensibilities to the Stan Smith with gold foil fleur de lis on blue suede. The artist creates a striking take on the classic kick with the elaborate distressed emblems and puts Mr. Smith on the tongue in homage to the shoes rightful owner. MADSAKI is Tokyo’s contributing artist and his version of the Samba is a sleek snakeskin street runner. The soccer shoe gets a leather lace cover with a geometric pattern while the rest of the shoe is trimmed in suede making this a multi material explosion. Fakso injects his abstract style into a Nizza high. As one of Milan’s premier artists he attacks the shoe with blue strokes on a taupe leather canvas. Trimmed in black with yellow accents on the eyelet, outsole and midsole foxing strip. Via Hypebeast

Dalek holds it down for New York with his Space Monkey infused Forum Mid. The shoe hosts a dark grey and black upper with his infamous characters on the inside and out. The shoe itself reflects Dalek’s flare for pop art and punk rock in a subtle way that doesn’t overstate itself. Via Hypebeast

The Five Two 3 Pack by adidas Originals includes a nature theme and this Forum Mid is sure to grow on you. Corny jokes aside its a pretty cool shoe with an all white textured floral upper. The shoe is devoid of any other colors save sparse green plant like accents and a brown outsole. The green vines on the tongue and heel really turn this shoe into something special. Via Schuyou

adidas takes time out of their busy release schedule to appreciate the arts with their City Artist Collection. For this campaign the brand chose to let a specific artist get busy on a pair of kicks with some interesting results. The comprehensive listing goes: Dalek’s NYC Forum Mids, Pochoir’s London Superstars, KRSN’s French Stan Smith’s, Madsaki’s Osaka Samba and Nizza High. We first featured this pair of Adidas Rod Lavers back in September, and just wanted to update you guys on them. This design is actually a collaboration with Goodfoot, and features a dark grey wool upper, along with grey accenting including the shoe lacing area and lining, as well as a classic white sole. Previously we showed you the purple adidas Forum Mid’s and now we  have a classic Stan Smith. The grey suede upper has a yellow lining and outsole with red accents on the midsole, tongue and heel tab.
