Ghostface Killah won’t have to worry about what shoes to wear for a while. When he isn’t rockin the wallo’s he can now don one of his 2 pair of adidas Def Jam 25th Anniversary kicks. Previously we showed you the purple adidas Forum Mid’s and now we  have a classic Stan Smith. The grey suede upper has a yellow lining and outsole with red accents on the midsole, tongue and heel tab. His logo appears on the heel and the sneakers also have his face on the tongue and Pretty Tony on the heel.  Via LTD

Is it the shoes? To Adidas, yes. The three stripes are severing ties with UCF because Marcus Jordan has refused to wear Adidas sneakers while on the court. Michael Jordan’s son has agreed to wear Adidas gear, but not sneakers because of what the Jordan brand means to him and his family. Itt is interesting to see if the Jordan Brand will now sponsor UCF and how the team’s management feels about Marcus’ decision.

The Busenitz is included in the collection along with the usual classics seen in adidas drops. The colorways available are perfect for winter time skating, if only they made beanies…

Slam Jam makes its Consortium debut with a flare for flash. Done up in an electric blue fabric and accenting shiny leather the shoe features a muted lime green for the help out. The lightweight fabric gleams just enough to make the shiny leather not stand out too much and the off white sole actually grounds the overall design. Via Freshnessmag

Kopenhagen gets busy with this navy leather and suede shoe for the Consortium City Pack. The shoe is predominantly leather with accenting suede and the dark upper is punctuated with yellow detailing on the heel tab and top eyelet. The white sole jumps out at you for it simply being such a contrast but works wonderfully in the color scheme. Via Freshnessmag

With DQM being one of the premier shops in NYC its only fitting that they would take on the New York for their contribution to the Consortium City Pack. With a rugged waterproof upper and D-Ring laces these are sure to be able to handle any New York weather or walking you can throw at them and the black upper looks broken in just enough to help them look new after being broken in on the mean streets of NYC. Adidas decides to take their innovation to an organic level with their 3 Plants Pack. With each of the kicks inspired by botanicals, the silhouettes all feature a fresh design aesthetic with a minimalistic approach. In addition, the adidas branding is transformed, adding a stem to the bottom to make it appear to be a growing sprout. via Hypebeast

All “Hakers”, laker haters, will not be happy about this one. Adidas is releasing their superstar in metallic gold with purple and yellow hits throughout the upper. The shoes are out now but available in small quantities at select retailers. The insole features the number 15 which is representative of the amount of champion ships the Lakers have won.

adidas has decided to hold our feet for Ransom and with shoes like this dropping its no too far fetched to assume that we’d be willing to pay the price. The Summit is more hiking boot than sneaker but the quality and construction says luxury like no other. While they are fully functional field boots we still think they would be wiser worn as urban fresh with jeans and a hoodie. you make the call tho. Via Solecollector

We have been going Ransom crazy around here but can you blame us? Have you seen the line collection!?! With quality materials and subtle yet sound design these are some of the best sneakers we have seen. And while we made a post about the Valley’s once we didn’t have images of the black or white versions. Both done in leather to contrast the blue suede model these are probably our favorites… for now! The RANSOM project has created some very nice looking shoes and its time to take a closer look at a few of them. First  up we get a good glance at the Pier. Done up in 3 color ways each with a different material these seem to get their name from the boat shoe inspired upper. Wether its red canvas, grey suede or white leather the contrasting lining are as attractive as the contrast stiched upper. Via Kenlu

For SneakersNStuff’s latest collaboration with adidas they chose a suede that could probably stand to be hit with a hot comb but looks as good as natural hair can and should. The Stockholm lowtop comes in a grey unfinished sued with blue and yellow alternate side stripes. The gum flavored heel just adds to the overall appeal making this one definitely a unique creation. Don’t expect to see a lot of this shoe stateside. Via SF

adidas and Def Jam recently gave us the Red and Meth kicks, and now they are back with the Ghostface sneakers, this time using the Forum Mid and the Superstar II. The Forum is done in a Pretty Tony fashion, using nothing less than a Purple suede with a White midsole/outsole. The Superstar II was inspired by the Fishscale album, with a black ripstop nylon and a fishscale embossed leather. Ghostface’s face is sen screened on the shoe’s tongue, as well as some classic branding on the heel. Check these out at select adidas Originals retailers.

We showed you a few pairs from the collection that Fafi is cooking up with adidas for the ladies. Well now we get to really see what they’ve been cooking. The french designer aims her art at the Superskate and Sneeker to go along with the Honey Mid and Low. And while each shoe maintains its own identity the common tying theme is Fafi’s hand drawn etchings that make each shoe unique. These are all currently stocked at various adidas retailers now, if there is an adidas originals store by you I’d suggest looking there first.

Jeremy Scott recently chose to dress the Conductor High with his design aesthetic, with keeping the actual silhouette mostly in tact, adding some neck turning features. The most notable would be the full-length tongue that covers the entire lacing section and stays connected with a buckled strap. The strap is actually a part of the traditional design, serving as the middle stripe in the adidas logo. These JS Conductors come in two colorways, a black on black as well as a black/white, which is a staple for the adidas brand.
