Adidas - 4 Elements of Hip-Hop B-Boy Collection

Over the next few months, Adidas will be releasing their 4 Elements of Hip Hop Collection, which will feature sets of shoes inspired by the DJ’s, Graffiti Artists, B-Boys, and MC’s, all elements of Hip Hop. This particular pack was inspired by the B-Boy element, and includes the Decade Hi, Superstar 2, and the Superstar 86. They pay tribute to break dancers, who played important in the early stages of Hip Hop. The Decade Hi model features an interesting design, designed to look like dirty cardboard which resembles the surface that b-boys used to dance on. We’ve been previewing several letters in the Adidas AZX Project, and have just learned what the letter K represents. This women’s version of the Adidas ZX 800 was designed by a small women’s boutique out in Los Angeles called Kendo. They feature a grey and purple suede upper with white mesh inserts which serve as a system of ventilation. Also, they sport light blue accents and gold on the Adidas three - striped logo. via Sneaker Freaker

Adidas AZX Originals Store ZX 700

We’ve already hit you wit the letters I and M, but now we’re going to show you guys what the letter O represents in the Adidas AZX I-P collection. This pair of Adidas ZX 700’s sport a simple design which consists of a brown / pnik color scheme which does take some getting used to. They sport a combination suede / leather construction and will only be sold at Adidas Originals stores. Via HS.

Adidas AZX Major ZX 600

Here we feature the M portion of the Adidas AZX I-P Collection, which represents Major. They have designed this pair of Adidas ZX 600’s which sport a rugged look. They feature an dark green and beige colorway along with orange accents. Other specs. include a mesh toe box for added ventilation as well as an outsole made for rugged terrain. They are slated to release on September 20, 2008. Major has also reported that they will be releasing a matching fitted. via Major.

Adidas AZX In-Store ZX 700

We previously post news about the Adidas I-P Collection, and have found out that the letter I will be a special In - Store model. This ZX 700 model will represent the letter I, and features a combination black / red / olive color scheme. They will only be available at Adidas Icon Stores in London (No. 6) and Berlin (no. 74). Adidas Originals AZX - Patta ZX 7000

Here we feature the Adidas Originals AZX - Patta ZX 7000, which sports a combination teal / purple color scheme with red accents. The use of teal and purple is becoming very popular now, as the colors seem to just blend so well. Adidas AZX I-P Collection

Adidas has been slowly releasing their AZX collection in portions and after the release of A-H companies, the I - P companies are hitting stores next. The versions included in the release this time around are the ZX 500 Just Be, ZX 800 Kendo, ZX 450 Livestock, ZX 600 Major DC, ZX 700 Boat Neighborhood, and ZX 7000 Patta. The whole idea behind the series is that each companies involved in the I -P collection gets the chance to showcase their skills and styles as they are each allowd to design an Adidas model. Adidas Originals Ciero Mid

Recently released by Adidas Originals is the this new model which has been dubbed the Ciero Mid. They feature inspirations from many classic Adidas models including basketball, soccer, and skateboarding shoes. They feature an olive colored upper constructed from suede along with a white sole. Here we feature the Adidas Superstar II Lux - White / White / Legacy. They feature the classic silhouette of the iconic Adidas Superstar shoe, but feature perforated portions which allow the bearer’s foot to breathe.They sport an all white color scheme with gold accents, and still consist of the classic rubber toe. They are now available at the Sweden - based online shop Caliroots.

A recent collaboration by Adidas puts them together with Upper Playground and designer Same Flores to create this Sam Flores model. This personalized sneaker features a dark grey, light blue, and pink color scheme as well as interesting details at the back half. When asked about his vision for the shoe, Flores said that he simply wanted to create a vibrant shoe that went well with the warm weather. They are set to release on August 7, 2008 at Upper Playground retailers and are limited to 500 pairs. Via hb.
