The Adidas ZX 500’s original purpose was as a high mileage running shoe.  It contains a nylon upper and a velour trim, and was available in a large variety of colourways.  It was a serious running shoe, and features a TPU heel counter for added stability, as well as an EVA midsole, features included for anyone with a motion control problem.
