The original version of the Oregon featured nylon uppers with pig-skin reinforcement, but after 1983, suede was used as an alternative to pig skin.  The midsole wedge has a Dillenger web design to absorb shock and disperse it away from the foot during heel strike.  It also features the Adidas “space shuttle” profile and the familiar Ghilly lacing system.   In 2002, Adidas produced a special camouflage edition of the Oregon.
