Adidas JeansReleased in he late 1970s the jeans gained iconic status within the U.K. Initially developed by adidas under its ‘Leisure’ banner, the shoe was intended to be teamed up with jeans! Initially released in blue and red, later changes in design resulted in Jeans 2 and 3.

The most appealing feature of the Adidas Jeans was obviously its blue suede upper. The blue was interrupted by a splash of yellow between the upper and the outsole, and the gold Jeans lettering.  In 1982, Adidas changed the look of the shoe by witching up the design of the outsole and upper.  The traction tread outsole was replaced by a trefoil profile outsole, and a new red/ navy colourway was released to the variety of colors.  It was further refined in 1984.
