Havoc Erupts Over Galaxy Foams at Florida Mall
dont blame the young sneaker heads all of us had to start some where blame hoh an nike they need to be more organized i agree more shoes less of a problem but if they do that everybody would have heat then how would a REAL sneaker head stand out from the fakes????
if nike made the same number of the foams than some of the other shoes that weren't as popular, this would have never happened, even thought people should not be killin each other over a pair of shoes
thats that bullshyt nike has to seee nikkas is trippen over these foams and they not evn makn enough for everyone....its not like theyy loosing money...and its not lke bak in the 90's wen u was able to get j's or some shyt wit out that fukn bullshyt...nike is fucked up bee they want nikkas to be trippy
what a load of bullsh@&t there was not any tear gas deployed I was there the whole time and long after the craziness calmed down even stood within 50 feet of where that video was shot. the police never fired any type of weapon lethal or non-lethal. the cops were being jerks at times but there was a lot more ignorance in the people trying to buy the shoes. many of the people felt that the cops were not going to be able to stop everyone much later when most of the officers left the scene if they all wanted to rush in and steal what they wanted. I was amazed by the ridiculousness of those individuals boasting how they felt the cops were probably scared that everyone was going to run at them at any moment. I commend the cops for doing their jobs even if it was a bit of overkill.
Nike is some assholes I cant even get some cloak kobe vii's cause of the "limited quantities" bullshit
It's a bunch of dumb ghetto a-holes who would spend their last $10 on sneakers. Would you expect these kind of people to act anything but uncivilized in any situation !?
This is some true cornball shit, you die and be in heaven like...Oh I died for some shoes...only in America, and look at this lame fag yelling Yolo
you also gotta blame people who buy those kicks over retail, if no one bought overpriced kicks that someone JUST flipped after waiting in line they wouldn't try to sell em.most of the blame goes to nike here though...they are subjecting their most die hard fans to legitimately dangerous conditions. they flow all these kicks to rappers and then act like they are SOOO limited they can't even sell them online. meanwhile they watched the hype build and THEN made the decision to not sell them online to shoot up demand even more.they are guaranteeing that they will make money but they are throwing up their hands and acting like corporate responsibility doesnt exist. it does.i won't stop rocking nike's cause i already bought them but adidas reebok and puma are looking better and better the more nike pulls this garbage.
being a sneakerhead got ruined by 2 things 1) nike's REFUSAL to make more to meet demand and 2) you get the EBAY whores who dont give a shit about kicks and would never rock them, they will camp a week for a pair and then put them up on ebay without blinking. those are not sneakerheads those are posers who are making a living off ebay instead of getting a real job. this kind of news is disgusting.
so if they not being sold online.... and House of Hoops thinks its a safety risk at damn near every location in america....who gets them? The employees and the rappers? Perhaps they should have put a $1,000 price tag on to begin with or maybe made enough to go around. People refuse to leave PG Plaza even after the supposed "cancellation"
The only way to ensure future mega releases go smoothly is to make them a pre-order item or put them on Nike I.D. This way whoever wants them can get them and Nike will know what the demand will be. It's really irresponsible of them as a global company to willingly create this madness and endanger lives. Also midnight releases need to be a thing of the past. It's to dangerous in the parking lots after making a purchase. You shouldn't have to fear for your life while walking back to your car.
over some shoes... smh. im not a fan of the foamposites so i dont get what the hype is all about. but seriously i read someone got stabbed, what, did that guy try and cut in line or something, someones life is not as valuable as a pair of purple shoes.
I figured something like this would happen . Now Nike needs to be held responsible for this . This craziness is all manipulated by them and their " limited quantities " bullshit . They could make enough for everyone to buy a pair and they would make plenty of money still . I hope the bubble bursts on this kind of crap before people get hurt .
I WAS THERE, it was quite crazy and yes the police fired warning shots in the air not sure if with real guns or rubber bullet weapons

Being from Orlando...this was crazy being here! I have never seen anything like it. Enjoyed to Allstar game though.
