According to reports, Jeremy Lin, the source of the New Yorks Knicks latest run in the regular season has agreed to a contract extension with Nike. The extension, rumored to be between 2-4 million by the NY Daily News will help both Lin and Nike in different ways. With Lin’s newest foray into the spotlight, Nike will hopefully use it as a chance to promote the rising star. As far as Nike is concerned, Lin presents the perfect opportunity to supplement their current offering in China behind LeBron James and Kobe Bryant.
2-4 million extension? That better be only worth a year. Nike is selling Asians short of their money.
