While the article linked below does not specifically say that Michael Jordan thinks Kobe Bryant is better than him, it is one of the few times we have heard MJ speak on the work ethic of Kobe. In a tweet being shared aroudn the web, author Roland Lazenby, who is working on a Jordan book, tweeted out the following:
Kobe’s ultimate competition is MJ. That’s why MJ watches him. MJ made people think what he was doing wasn’t human. Ditto the Kobester.
I never said Kobe was better than MJ. MJ just told me Kobe’s the only one to have done the work, to deserve comparison.
While we don’t think there really is another “Jordan” per se, we do also acknowledge that Kobe is one of the hardest working players in the NBA and has the skills to prove it. So though this doesn’t end the argument, it does show that Michael know that Kobe is close. But then again, what about the shoes? Source: Yahoo
