The Nike Air Force 1 is a staple in the Nike Sportwear lineup and has not changed much since it was introduced way back when. However, the iconic model is set for a change in 2012 with a new “Low Light” design. Gone is the trademark 1-inch midsole, replaced with a thinner lookijg midsole. Additionally, the liner has also been removed and the overall design has been slimmed down to fit today’s aesthetic. For the first colorway, Nike is going with a Julep upper over a natural tan outsole with matching laces. Thoughts?

Terrible. What’s the deal with the thinner midsole? It’s not a Dunk, it’s an AF1. If this is how all AF1s are going to be made, then I’m sad to say that I am done buying them. Glad I have enough to last a number of years. It is a sad day in “Sneakerville”.
