If you’re a baseball fan, then you are probably familiar with Hideo Nomo, who was the first Japanese-born Japanese player since Masanori Murakami (in 1965) to appear in a major league baseball game. He accomplished a lot that year, including starting at pitcher for the National League All Star team and winning the NL Rookie of the Year award.
Based on this success, Nike added him to their list of signature players, giving him his own shoe, the Nike Air Max NM. We’ve seen the shoe release in a variety of designs this year, and today we’re taking a look at one of the latest to surface. This time around, smooth white leather covers a majority of the base, while red and obsidian accents are seen throughout, creating a USA-like design. No word yet as to a release but we will keep you guys posted.
