As far as collaborations go when the guys over at mastermind JAPAN decided to hook up with the boys over at Vans they went the subtle route for a very clean look. They took a traditional Vans Sk8 Hi and silhouette and gave it a black suede upper and a few key custom details. From its translucent outsole to the embossed skull and crossbones toe these aren’t to heavy handed at all and a zipper along the heel finishes the job lovely. These are available now at select retailers.
