Although it can’t compete with Nike’s hyperfuse or flywire, the Nike Air Trainer 2 was at the forefront of the shoe game in terms of technology when it originally dropped back in 1996. Compared to today’s kicks, these might be considered bulky, but back during the mid 90s they were known for their padding and cushioning.

The version shown here sports a predominantly black and midnight navy design. Contrasting the dark hues are gold and white detailing, including the branding, stitching, heel panel, and air max unit. Hints of red are also visible on the Nike swoosh, tongue and air max unit. You can scoop up a pair now via New York-based Extra Butter.
