Clash of the Kicks: Air Jordan 3 – All Black Everything

The Air Jordan 3 (III) has seen a a variety of “All Black Everything” designs. Today we’re going to put the pressure on you guys to choose the best out of the trio of choices that we’ve provided. Featured here are the “Black Cat”, “Black History Month”, and “Black Flip” versions.Before putting you guys on the spot and asking you to choose, we’re going to do a bit of a recap of each shoe.

For starters, the Air Jordan 3 “Black Cat” consists of nubuck, elephant print on the toe and heel areas, as well as black patent leather. The nubuck upper provides a material contrast to the black patent leather which goes around almost the entire shoe. The midsole of the shoe is two toned with a shiny black color on top to match the patent leather and a charcoal color on bottom which is the secondary color of the shoe.

The Air Jordan 3 “Black History Month” boasts a black and gold upper constructed from suede and leather. Instead of the classic elephant print, Jordan Brand has laser etched the panels with items significant to MJ and Black History Month. Details include an insole that reads ” A Call To Greatness” and “XXXV”, both a reference to the 35th anniversary of the month.

Finally, The Air Jordan 3 “Black Flip”, as the name suggests, features a flipped design. Instead of sporting elephant print on the toe and heel, the classic design engulfs the upper, while the other portions boast either perforated or tumbled leather.
