Air Jordan Spiz’ike “Bordeaux”

Of all the hybrid Jordan sneaker that have come out of Jordan Brand, the Air Jordan Spiz’ike seems to be one of the few that make it past the sneaker elite. Here we see a model that may test the reserve of the Jordan faithful, the Air Jordan Spiz’ike “Bordeaux”. The model mixes quite a few colors on the upper including Light Graphite/Varsity Maize-Bordeaux-Dark Charcoal-Sapphire. According to Modern Notoriety, the hybrid sneaker will be dropping in February 2012 and will be priced at $175. Available now on eBay.

Yeah, I'm not feeling this color way. I really would have preferred a cw more faithful to the original. I'm not wild about the yellow and blue hits, but they make sense. The thing that really screws it up is the use of the really light grey on the upper. I think they should have gone with a darker grey upper with more black accents, including on the midsole. The white midsole doesn't really cut it for a "bordeaux" inspired cw.
