Scheduled to return in the summer of 2012 is the Nike Air Max Tailwind 1996. This time however, the shoe will be officially called the Nike Air Max Tailwind 96-12, as it will feature the upper of the 1996 Tailwind, combined with a new visible air sole, which will replace the original heel unit.
