Thanks to a little detective work by the guys at Sole Collector it turns out that both the Air Jordan 3 Denim and Air Jordan 3 Khaki are in fact samples from 2009 that never made it to release. The full story can be read on their site but as it turns out the sneakers were debuted on the feet of Jordan Brand’s then Business Director Astor Chambers at the Quai 54 basketball tournament. His later departure from that position left the model in peril never to see the light of day and while the surfacing of the images has quite a few of us excited our hopes should not be up that high regarding their release.
