Back in June we told you guys about a weird story in which airport officials found some abandoned luggage that contained shoes filled with about $107,000 worth of cocaine in the outsoles. Today we are learning about a Trenton, New Jersey man who attempted to do the same thing. 24-year-old Carlos J. Lanns allegedly tried to smuggle cocaine into the country. Allegedly, he stuffed eight pairs of shoes with 2.17 kilograms of cocaine. After being arrested, he pleaded not guilty in a Boston courtroom. He is currently being held on $300,000 bail. We just thought that this was a very interesting story, seeing as how it involved kicks.
