Nike has officially announced the Nike Mag. The launch of one of the most coveted sneakers in recent history. Details are listed below:
- 1500 pairs of the Nike Mag will be auctioned off for charity via ebay
- 150 pairs will be auctioned off a day for 10 days
- Auctions start tonight at 8:30PM PST and ends on September 18
- Auctions will be hosted at eBay’s Fashion Vault. Available Now on eBay

The 2011 Nike Air Mag is said to be Nike’s first rechargeable sneaker and is designed as an exact replica of the pair Marty wore in Back to the Future II. However, the shoes will not tie themselves like in the movie. That version is still slated for 2015. The shoes feature a bright LED panel and electroluminescent Nike branding. Slight changes, such as additional foam in the ankle and forefoot, have been put into place to improve comfort. The 2011 NIKE MAG illuminates with the pinch of the “ear” of the high top, glowing for five hours per charge. Available Now on eBay.
