If you didn’t tune in to Max Schaaf’s latest collaboration with Vans Syndicate via 4Q use this post to get initiated. The two colorway drop included a Red or Black version of the Vans Era 79 with some premium materials and a pair of handlebar grips to boot. As for the shoes themselves they are a blend of tumbled leather on the toe, suede on the laceplate and ankle and canvas on the heel to form the perfect sneaker for extreme sporting. A modified tongue tag and lug nut eyelet also shows that these are more than just another pair of sneakers.
