Nike debuts the Nike Zoom Breathe 2K11 iD with options for outsoles, width, toe-drag protection, tongue-style, color and style.
After years of careful development, Nike delivers the best in performance customization to tennis. The Nike Zoom Breathe 2K11 tennis shoe now joins Nike iD.
The Nike Zoom Breathe 2K11 iD offers customization at its finest – players can match their shoes to their style of play. As a fully customizable performance shoe on the market, there are various explorable options for outsoles, width, toe-drag protection, tongue preference and, of course, color and style.
Arguably the most innovative new element developed by Nike Design are the options for toe drag protection. Exclusively available on the NIke Zoom Breathe 2K11 iD, you can choose one or two layers of the groundbreaking DragOn technology adding support, durability and stability in a simple hexagonal pattern to the forefoot cage. Also featuring premium breathable mesh layered under the DragOn technology, the foot is kept cool under the most extreme court conditions while maintaining the highest level of flexibility and breathability.
Avid players can choose outsoles designed with the appropriate traction pattern for their preferred surface –hard court and grass or clay, which are exclusive to NIKEiD in North America. Fit can be customized from the standard True Fit to the Nike iD exclusive Tour Fit, delivering a narrower shoe for a more locked-down feel on the court.
Standard and bootie tongue styles are also available. Offering a glove-like fit when the feet are in action, the bootie version is fully connected to the shoe and won’t slide around during play while the Standard tongue offers a more traditional fit and feel. The Nike Zoom Breathe 2K11 iD is then finished off with springy resilient cushioning for long rallies on the court with the addition of Lunarlon system and Nike Zoom in the heel. A heel clip provides the ultimate foot support for those hard lateral movements customary for the rigors of play.
These various choices allow wearers to achieve specialized fit, traction and protection. The new Nike Zoom Breathe 2K11 iD also enables wearers to craft unique and personalized looks from a vast variety of color choices throughout the shoes and laces. Nike’s palette highlights bold, bright tones such as pink spark, safety orange, tour yellow and lucky green designed to grab attention on the court. The Nike Zoom Breathe 2K11 iD can be further personalized by adding unique iDs to the heels with your choice of up to six letters, numbers or symbols per heel.
