As sneakerheads, we often don’t have to worry about where our next meal is coming from. Many of us are blessed to have pretty much everything we want and need, and often have two pairs of what we want just in case we mess one up. Unfortunately, there are people around the world who do not have the same luxury. Currently, there are 10.7 million people in Africa that go without food and water on a consistent basis.
Kicks On Fire has joined with Mercy Corps, an organization that has dozens of team members on the ground throughout East Africa, rushing immediate assistance to vulnerable families in some of the most remote and worst-affected areas such as Ethiopia, Somalia and Kenya. They are providing truckloads of water, shipments of food and other critical, lifesaving supplies. While helping communities survive the current drought, They also sharing ways farmers can protect the fragile environment so their farms will grow more food for the future.
As you can imagine, Mercy Corps can not do it alone. What we are asking is for you to help out by making a donation. Everyday, over 50,000 sneakerheads make a stop by Kicks On Fire, and we are hoping that between you all,we can reach a goal of $5000. We should be concentrating on helping those who are at need. rather its the shoes that made you donate or just out the kindness of your heart, the money will be used for a good cause and believe they will be forever thankful for everyone who contributed. @ProblemzGalore
