We could easily turn this post into a debate about A Tribe Called Quest’s best album but we won’t do that. Instead we will just be happy to see that one of our personal favorite releases is getting the sneaker treatment via one of our favorite silhouettes.
The Black suede sneaker features an upper with a tonal pattern etched into it that feels a bit like the albums cover art. If you are a Tribe fan you knew that Red and Green would be found in the mix and this time Red is on the lining and swoosh while Green is held down on the laces and heel tab. The Nike SB Blazer High ‘Low End Theory’ is set to make its limited release in September and if you haven’t guessed by now Low End Theory gets our vote for best ATCQ album. What’s your favorite?
