The Nike Tennis Classic was originally released in 1982 and famously worn by tennis player John McEnroe to Wimbledon in the same year, boosting its sales in both tennis and casual circles. The version seen here is actually the 1985 design, which actually cemented the trainer’s popularity.

This model has received Nike’s vintage treatment and features a smoke grey premium brushed suede upper with a sail leather heel tab and perforated swoosh.
