    I wouldn’t say that customs are fakes.  Fakes are shoes that someone is trying to pass off as a popular sneaker to try to steal cash from others.  I look at customs as an existing shoe thats been reinterperted into something new. ie South Beach 6s.  You can also look at NikeId shoes as customs.

    when comes to custom sneakers its just a personal design chosen to be made the owner. its not necesarily fake as if it were to be done with plain af1s…but i wouldnt expect shoeheads to completely recognize the shoe to be customized as if they were fake when theyre worn…so it can go either way

    a custom shoe is no different than changing the laces, as small as a change as this is it… it is still customization. The original shoe is what the base is. How ever it gets modified to how the person chooses to wear it. However a fake shoe has absolutely nothing to do with the original shoe at all.

    I would not consider it fake,  I would considerate a  real sneaker  with your own personal touch.

    I dont believe  customs are fakes. I wanted the “Cali” Dunk lows back in 04 or 05 so bad.Years passed and i was actually thinking of buying a pair of all white dunk lows to find someone to make me a batch of the “Cali” Lows.

    Does a custom sneaker equal a fake sneaker? I think it does not equal a fake sneaker cause it show show your colors and who you are and beauce it’s not fake cause it’s a sneaker and sneakerheads collect every shoe not just originals.

    It does not mean they are fake. That means that the person who did the custom work is very motivated and loves his or her shoes. Plus a custom is still the real shoes, and fakes are not even a real shoes it has bad material, and low quality of work.I think custom shoes are a piece of art work in a way. if you love the color way of one shoe what so bad about putting it on another one.
