The shoe that normally needs no introduction needs a bit of explanation for its latest iteration. The Air Jordan 3 Black / Cement has been one of the brands staple silhouettes and to say its anticipated is an understatement. So to see the shoe pop up with a nubuck upper could be taken as a slap in the face to some fans of the sneaker.
Aside from the material switch nothing else has changed about the sneaker. We haven’t got a good look at the model yet but these two images show that the remainder of its details are still in tact and they don’t look bad at all. A simple material change alters the entire feel of the shoe but for some people it’s the type of change that needs to be embraced and encouraged. It certainly will get people talking.
