Two things tend to make a shoe popular, the colorway and the style. Over the weekend, we were exposed to the best of both with the release of the Nike Air Max Jr in a Grey/Volt colorway.
Made popular on the Air Max 95, the grey/volt combination sits perfectly over the high top silhouette. Tonal greys dominate the upper leaving on flashes of volt on the branding and on the lining. Touches of black are used on the Nike Swoosh and midsole, but they dominance of the grey and volt make them an afterthought. Beneath the Air Max unit we see a volt outsole which helps to bring out the volt tongue. Available now on eBay.
