Converse take the Chuck Taylor very seriously. In the latest update to the silhouette, Converse once again melds the model with another of America’s signature fashions, the motorcycle jacket. First seen back in December in black, Converse today announced an all-white version of the Schott for Converse Chuck Taylor. White Schott leather is used as the only material on the upper with the exception of the metal zippers and eyelets. Other details include a quilted lining, snaps on the tongue, an embossed leather rand and the Schott logo sewn into the interior ankle.

The Schott for Converse Chuck Taylor “Leather Jacket” White is part of the Converse First String line, a select group of shoes that Converse deems eligible for their premium line. They will be available for $150 on April 15, 2011, at select Converse First String retailers including Stussy (New York, NY), Blends (Costa Mesa, CA), St. Alfred (Chicago, IL) and Kicks Hawaii (Honolulu, HI).
