For the past few years now, the NBA has celebrated their “Green Week” during the first full week in April. Teams acknowledge and celebrate it in one way or another, whether it means placing the logo on their home floors, wearing green headbands, or even green sneakers. However they show their involvement in the cause, NBA teams hope to generate awareness and funding to help preserve the environment.
With that being said, the focus of today’s NBA Kicks post is the game between the Lakers and Nuggets that took place at Staples Center. Ty Lawson showed his support by rocking the Nike Air Foamposite Pro – Electric Green. A few of his teammates also showed their support, such as Nene, Raymond Felton, and Will Chandler, who were all seen rocking the adidas adiPure. Even Al Harrington sported a green headband and matching accessories. Check out the pics below to see what other NBA players were wearing, including Ray Allen, D Wade, Lebron, Chris Paul, and more.
