I am starting to think that 15 year old Michigan native Allen Largin knew something that we didn’t when he decided to dress up his version of the Jordan MELO M7 in vibrant orange. The model features Melo’s logo on the heel, and also features his sister’s name “Chelle” on the instep to honor her memory. Complimenting the orange upper is blue stitching and white accents on the Jumpman and outsole.

Carmelo debuted this version of the M7 last week against the Detroit Pistons, while the Syracuse University men’s basketball team to wore them when they opened the tournament against Indiana State. As far as Allen goes, he is not only the winner of the contest, but also a recipient of $5,000 in computer equipment, a platinum certificate of $,5,000 and a $5,000 donation to his high school.
