The concept of a Nike Cortex upper and Air Max sole seems strange. The two shoes existed in generations where technology was vastly different and are virtually stand alone pieces. So to see the two combined on this Nike Cortez x Air Max Sample is kind of cool.
The shoe is mainly Cortex and features that cut away Air Max bubble in the heel. This one seemingly inconspicuous addition really makes the shoe a true anomaly since its two decades worth of technology mashed up in to one. The shoes feature a yellowed sole for that realistic retro look and come with a nylon and suede upper. No word on when these will drop but when they do will you cop?
