Nike has looked beyond the broad walls of football to a more local and passionate version of the sport called small-sided Football. For the Nike5 Gato, the company set out to create a model that embraces this philosophy and can be used in Tokyo, Barcelona, Rio De Janeiro, or London. To accomplish this, Nike used durable materials such as suede on the upper, and rubber outsole with a pyramidal traction surface. Heavy stitching impacts the toe, while dual-textures are used to increase performance.
