“UPcycle” and not “recycle”, is the theme of the work of Gabriel Dishaw of Indianapolis, Indiana with this recreation of the Air Max 2011. The recreation utilizes old computer parts, metal shillings, screws, and cables to bring the iconic style of the Nike Air Max to life. The project took approximately 90 hours to complete, and even includes a Nike+ USB port.
